Schedule for week of April 25th:

Monday: no Whos needed, except Mr. & Mrs. Mayor (if you are a Who in both casts you are free tomorrow evening)

Tuesday: All 6-7pm, Mr. and Mrs. Mayor 7-7:30

Wednesday: All 6-7, Bird Girls 7-7:30

Thursday: All 6-7, Horton and Gertrude 7-7:30

1. Hunters-if you can’t find pink camo shorts, wear khaki shorts with pink camo accents like hat and/or bandana, etc. If you have pink camo shorts, wear pink t shirt with it.
2. Bird Girls-you should have ordered your costume; if you haven’t, please let me know immediately
3. Info on cast party below-sign up this week-money due Sat May 14 or anytime before then
4. Signups for volunteer spots-I'll have sign up sheets at rehearsals this week on the cast board in the lobby
5. If you don’t have a costume or a plan for a costume, let me know
6. Opening day schedule: Sat May 7th-rehearse 9:30-12, pizza party 12-1, then get ready for show at 3

Cast Party!!!!!!
Sat May 21st, 5:30-8pm swimming and dinner
at Cy Creek Rec Association (not far from Jones and 1960)
swimming, volleyball, playground, lots of room to run around!
Depending on how many sign up it'll be $5-$8 per person.

Saturdays=Ham Cast
Sundays=Green Eggs cast

If any of you had a conflict with a performance date where you should be your main character, see me immediately and we'll see if we can do a switch with your counterpart. I think I've planned this so as to avoid conflicts, but it's hard to get it perfect.

Seussical Schedule Alert for Monday April 18th!

If you are a Who or a Who/Hunter, you can take a break tomorrow (Monday) evening!

We will be continuing work on Monkey Around/Chasing the Who's (Who's are not in this song except at the very end with some screaming which doesn't need much practice), and beginning work on Egg Nest and Tree. If there's time we will move on to Amazing Mayzie!

P.S. There are several people who have not paid their production fees yet. Please bring cash or a check made out to Playhouse 1960 sometime this week so I can get our t shirts ordered. :)

Parents - costume meeting in theater to answer questions and finish costume decisions
12-1:00 Only Hortons, Gertudes, JoJos, Cats
(We’ll practice Alone in the universe, Notice Me Horton, and some of the scenes between songs.)

Set build volunteers—we need you! We will have some things you can help with backstage this Saturday! We already have some set pieces, and they need to be pulled out of their hiding places and looked at. Some will need wheels added, etc.

Monday:

6-7 Everyone (review and Solla Sollew with blocking)

Great rehearsal on Saturday! The next time we see you we will give you a CD of the ENTIRE show.

Tuesday: No rehearsal due to an Aldridge family conflict--work on your songs at home!!!!

Wednesday: The whole cast is called. We will run all the songs we have learned so far with choreography, and without the guide vocals--so, use your night off on Tuesday to practice your songs!

We will have costume info to hand out on Wednesday and will also post it on the blog.
